    This image was made from a blind in my backyard. I was quite excited to see this bird because I had never had the chance to photograph them. However, I soon found out that these birds are constantly on the move. I snapped several photographs but most of them were birdless, the bird had moved on. Finally, I managed to get this fellow. The light was quite bad so I didn't have enough shutterspeed even at ISO 800.

    ISO 800
    + 2/3 EV compensation
    Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 with 2x TC @600mm
    Nikon D70s

    The light doesn't look too bad but the focus is behind the head, as you can see, the feet are in focus. You might try to focus on the eye next time.

    Besides what Axel said, the bird higher in the frame would be better and I'm seeing a slight green cast.
