Out with Lou at West End looking for Snowy owls and found this guy/gal first. Took about 45 minutes to finish eating what was once a Dovekie(so we were told by Cal V.) After it finished and flew off we spotted a Snowy and did about an hour of image making with it. All in all a very productive morning.

This is really great with the prey and I like the framing as well. It would have been awesome to see the Peregrine take down the prey too. :)

Great find and light and really not too appetizing. Details and exposure control look good. I might try to decrease the yellow saturation of the feet a few points.

Great perch and nice light. Not easy on the stomach (ok intestines) :)

Nice work, Joe. Unusual, to say the least. Pity it was a Dovekie.
