I have been playing around with different crops for this image, trying to get a pleasing one, any comments would be appreciated.

    Thank you

I like the symmetric pose and the eye contact. Looks like you did a nice job with the exposure. I would crop some off the bottom and the left, along with a little bit off the right. You'll still have plenty of environment, but the birds will be featured more prominently. Please try to include tech specs along with your photos. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for your comments and apologies for not including the capture data with the image, I have edited the post to include the data.

Great poses, exposure control and details. Where did you find these birds?

I might crop a bit off the top and left since I like the color of the ice they are sitting on.

Nice shot. The snow isolated the birds nicely. The matched poses really make the photo.

Really nice Michael! Not one but two of them in almost symmetrical pose! Well done! Congrats!

Axel... They come to the North of Japan for winter! I am going to see if I can find them in January when they come to a place about 400 Kilometers from my home! If I am lucky enough to find them don't expect my pictures to be as good as Michael's! :)
