I was photographing a colony of African Penguins in Betty's Bay in the Western Cape when I noticed a small colony of Cape Cormorants among them. I positioned myself to get them as they returned from their fishing forays to roost for the night. Fortunately the wind and sun was perfect, giving me the opportunity to create images of them coming straight at me.
