I captured this image this past fall in Grand Teton National Park. The bison were either on the road, or very nearby, which allowed for me to shoot images like this from the front seat of my car...

    C&C always appreciated.

    Thanks,

Outstanding detail in this one John. You can even see the ridges on the roof of the mouth. Colors look good too. Ideally, I'd like to see the tip of the horn to complete the "U" of the upturned nose but this probably wasn't possible given the description of this particular bison and his proximity. A very nice capture regardless and an interesting look at the texture of the fur.

Great behavioural image. I like the upturned head and the eye. Nice details in the blacks.

    John,

Excellent detail. A wider framing would have been the ticket but you reacted well to capture this comp.

Excellent moment captured, I like ethe framing, it accentuates the expression. Wider would not have been as effective.

A very pleasing behavior shot, John. With the great detail in this close-up I bet it would make a great print.

    John,
It looks great as presented. Lot if details in this image. You captured it at the right moment. I would have loved the inclusion of the full horns. Nevertheless, a nice image.

John, I really love the moment that you captured here. I've been around a lot of bison, but I've actually never seen a big bull calling like this. Excellent sharpness for 1/100s...glad you were there to capture this image!
