Nice wing position, and I kinda like the looking down at the egret angle. A bit of post processing remnants (?) to clean along the right edge, but otherwise very nice. Cool duckweed covered BG.

    Hi Bill,

Love the contrasts between the green and white. I think the high angle works here and mostly is because the wings in the lower position and eye contact.

I was there last Thursday btw!! I had a lot of fun!

    Take care!

One of your stronger recent efforts Bill. Like the take-off pose. The bird looks great against that carpet of green.

Very good exposure on the whites and I like the action a lot Bill. The BG is really nice and I think that the composition would be better if the egret is placed a bit more at the left and top. The angle is not the best but I think that it works in this image. Well done

Well done Bill! Nice pose, composition and as they say the angle works really well for me! Just 2 questions, what's the BG? I mean is it grass or something else? Also, what you guys call Snowy is it the same bird that I call little egret? I notice there is another one with longer feathers on the neck! Anyway, congrats! Cheers!

Great shot, i would have preferred a slightly lower angle but I think it is great. The detail and exposure are outstanding, I just don't know how you guys in the USA manage to get so close to birds
