This is the first image of an Eagle that I've had a chance to capture.

A big congratulations to you Maurice, on your first eagle...It must have been an exciting moment. I like the composition, you have a good head angle with good eye contact. I like the natural perch, the pine cone in the upper right hand corner adds a nice touch to your image, showing habitat...I modified your image to enhance it a little, see if you like it...

Nice capture Maurice, like the repost by Gus, might just take out the pine cone and branch on the URC. Must be exciting to get this shot!

Big congrats on your first eagle!!!! Nice and sharp, like the bit extra Gus did to bring out the details a bit more.

    Good show Maurice!

Big Congrats Maurice Its always a thrill finding your first eagle. Just needed some extra focal length !!

As presented remember to move up/down to eliminate merges with branches !!!

Nice one Maurice. I am sure more will follow. I like the soft light and the repost does bring out more detail. Good one.

agree with al. a move to the right would have eliminated the merge of its head with the branch. congrats on your first eagle. hope you get many more!!!

Thanks to all for the positive response. :) I do like the repost, this was a very tough capture with water and trees making this the only option.
