That should take care of things Chas. Terrific detail on this head shot and I like the composition.

Just a beautiful image Charles. A small nit is I would of liked to see a bit more room in front of the bird.

    Hi Chas,

When were you in Venice? Shoot me a PM and we can meet!!

Love the details on this one. Excellent soft light and sharpens. I do find this image too tight in the frame, perhaps a little more room in front!

    Thanks!

So, just how much of a crop is this? J/K :-) Anyhow, great perspective on this fella...I love the inclusion of the far wing. Another vote for a bit more room in front.

A very slight crop maybe 3% to enhance comp.. I watched the GBH fly back and forth to the nest a few times, thereafter, picking the distance and focal length necessary to get the image as viewed. I am very goal oriented when shooting, defining my target and waiting for it to enter what I determine as the best "window of opportunity" before depressing the shutter.

Stunning is about it. Great inflight work. I too would have preferred slightly more in front of the bird, but thats a small nit.
