    Cropped to the point there isn't anymore:) Doing the hover/hunting thing, my goal was to get enough fps that there would be maybe one image that the wings where above or below the head body. Now its the get closer part

    This is really a beautiful shot. I'm wondering whether the sky is pretty much as shot or whether you added any color or gradient effect. Either way, it is a first rate picture.

    (Love that little squirrel at the bottom!)

    Very nice capture and composition Nonda. The bird is placed just right in frame. I like the raised wing position, showing all of the fine sharp detail...good show...:cool:

    David the sky was lovely Ohio gray so this had some help

    Love it Nonda !!! Just work closer !!!! That lens works really good with the 2X !!!! I'm sure you will have one full frame soon !!!

    Thanks again..This image came together from the many tips I've learned on this forum, from PS to fps for the wings.

    Alfred the 2x pretty much stays glued to the 300, want the 500:D and a pack mule.
