    Sunrise Giants castle , this bearded flew too close.... . minor crop to create pano...

    D3 plus 600mm lens.

    1/1000 @ f8
    iso 640
    +0.7 exp comp
    matrix metering

    minor adj in PS, levels, color balance,hue/sat, shadows/highl, resized and 3 x smart sharpening.

    Nice underwing detail in difficult light conditions. Like the pano crop. I would suggest saturating the blue slightly more.

    Cool gliding pose, eye contact and well exposed considering the harsh light. I might sharpen the head some more.

    Good job, Peter. I really like the diagonal pose and underwing details. Looks to have a yellowish cast so I have pushed it a little toward blue and tried Chris's suggestion re the blue sky and Axel's re sharpening the head and eye. This revealed some dust bunnies in the sky so I have cleaned them too. Hope you don't mind.

    thanks Chris . agree about saturation , I like what Tony has done..real improvement...

    thanks Axel for comments...agree about head sharpening ..must pay more attention...

    tony really appreciate you taking time out to improve image ,
    dust bunnies with the D3 are a real pain....
