    Lots of cold weather and gray skies lately, so the light wasn't terrific on the harriers I found this afternoon here in northern Utah. I stilll enjoyed watching the feathers fly as this particular harrier kept plucking away (off and on) for about an hour or so.

    40D w/ 400 5.6L
    1/500 f/5.6 iso400
    Handheld w/ beanbag

    Like the way the bird(live one) stands out with its own color. The overcast sky reflection works well IMO. Super catch....wish you better weather soon

    seems a bit magenta to me

    Nice image. Dave's rework removed the color cast.

    Like the image with the magenta cast removed. Great action. Really tells a story.
