    The waterfall looks awesome.
Would have been cool if the rocks it was falling over were tac-sharp to give some contrast to the satin-like waterfall.

    Hi Denise,
The water looks great, it looks nice and fluid. Think this shot would be great for HDR if you bracketed your shot at all. (for photomatix) Would like to see more room all around, looks like a fairly tight crop. If you just wanted a critique on the water, just ignore everything else:)

Jackie, In the future I would like to do an HDR-Also would concentrate on a total scene-but you're right I was really looking for critiques on the water-I feel like I should get that right before attempting the whole package, the water seems to be hard-since I'm not sure how much to slow it down and if f/22 is too much-also do you use a polarizer or ND ?

Hi Denise, The water looks very nice. I like the high lights. I am not sure iif they are blown out or not, but I think they are good and add to the photo. The bottom of the falls look particulary nice to me. The light in some of the water also seems to have a bit of colour in it, could just be me, not sure. Aside from as mentioned, sharpness and perhaps a bit wider angle a very nice photo.

    Lady Denise,
I like the composition and capture...the image is a bit under exposed, you lost details in the blacks, and the depth of field is a little shallow. The base image is a little fuzzy. I did a few adjustments to kick it up a notch...I increased saturation and contrast, I lightened up the shadows to try and get the details out, toned down some of the whites in the water, selective sharpened, giving you a crystallized water flow...see if this presents better to you...

denise, for what it's worth i like how the water looks. i know it's subjective and you can do different things, but this works for me. just looks like you need to cure the camera shake and maybe even try the HDR and you got it!!

the ND filter is the one that would work best in this situation to slow your shutter speed.

I like your original, but as H says, it's all subjective. I also like Gus's re post a lot.
