this is the "revision". Used PS sprayed strokes and Glass filter, tweaked levels and colors a bit. Don't know which I prefer, but had a good time anyway.

Canon 50D, 70-200L f4, iso 200 f 5.6 1/800

I like the original best. This crystalized frost on the apples does not look natural; it looks over done, over cooked...:cool:

I loved the original and I really like this one as well. It's got a nice textural feel to it that the other one was missing but then the other one had a great winter feel to it!

I do think you might be able to get away with boosting either the midtones or the contrast just a bit in this second version - try to make the ice sparkle just a little bit more.
