My favourite image of 2008

It's always tough to pick just one favourite. Especially when 2008 has been such a great year for photography! Looking back to the trip I took down to South Texas or when I went back to photograph spring songbirds in Ontario I have a lot of fond memories and images that I am proud of. But I have to say that my favourite image was of this male Common Goldeneye performing his mating ritual last January at a nearby lagoon.

Here's hoping that 2009 will be every bit as good as 2008 was :)
