hello everyone! I haven't been able to take any shots this few day coz we are having a lot of snow and very high wins. Hopefully I'll be able to go out with my kid tomorrow!

This shot is from a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was good enough to post here! It was taken around 7:30 am. The Sun was still very low and the light was really nice, goldish as you can see. Maybe someone can explain this: I had to over exposed a bit otherwise I was getting a grayish tone on the feathers BUT then I had to adjust the exposure to recover a few HL. I was shooting from a boardwalk so a lower angle was not an option even though I wanted to get lower.

So!? What have I done wrong this time? Don't be shy! Your critiques are all welcome!

    300 combo (D300 & AF-S 300 f/4) + TC17e II, AP f6.7, 1/250 sec, EV +0.3. PP -1/3 stop adjustment.

I like the pose and serene mood. A lower angle would have been better as well as having the sun in your back. I would tone down the highlights some more. The positive EC was not necessary in this situation.
