    yes, just a commoner.....but a sort ofsassy glamor shot
    of this little female. Does the beak "need" cleaning up?
    Only about 10% of a full 50D frame, ISO 800, 1/640, f/7.1, +.67EV

    Impressive detail for such a substantial crop. I wouldn't do a thing to the beak. In fact I wouldn't change much of anything, except perhaps remove the dirt at about 3 o'clock on the bird's eye.

    Full frame or crop, both are excellent. I like the beak the way it is, and I also would have removed the speck in the eye. The eye reflection is very nice as are the colours and sharpness. I like the positioning of the bird, looking back too. What lens?

    thank you for comment....lens is Canon 400mm f/5.6L
