Hi Nonda - love the BG - good looking bird -, Ha and eye contact is good.

Perch a bit to dominant maybe?? Also I am wondering if your point of focus wasn't on the perch rather than the bird.

Point was on bird but this is a huge crop (the post fared better) and I whoopsied, sharpened everything instead of just the bird. BG is a gradient. Meaning the image is not really all that hot to begin with..But hey it is from today!

    Hi Nonda,
I like the image and capture, you have good head angle and good eye contact. The colors are beautiful. I cropped the composition a tad, see if you agree...

Yea beat me to it Gus just cropped it:-)
Only I did a quick mask and pulled everything up then cropped to see if I could keep the BG looking the way it did.

I'm still having problems, I can not upload anything that the horizontal side is longer than 800???

Nonda you did a good job of putting in a gradient. Like Gus's crop. Might just take a soft eraser and go around the edge of the kestrel to blend it in with the BG.

Very nice Nonda. Pretty bird and I love the overall color range and tone. I do like Gus's crop and added sharpening. Lovely image.

I'll keep trying with these guys...This Kessy is hanging around where human foot traffic is normal and regular, might have half a chance.

Very pretty bird Nonda. I like your background and the sharpness of your image. Gus's re post is the one, small perch.
