Whilst travelling through the South Lungwa in Zambia I came across a big pride who had just taken down a Zebra minutes before my arrival. The blood and gore were spectacular sublects.

Wow!!! Thats the meanest looking lioness I've seen. Caught her at an intense moment.
The comp is great along with backround and detail. Just a minor nit would be the small brown area behind the dripping blood. I love the shot!

Yeah, the dark brown area is a lion cub's ear. Not really sure how I could get rid of it...

Love the snarl and the dripping blood! Easy enough to remove the dark area. Here's a repost in which I also lightened the irises of the eyes.

I like the mood. The dripping blood makes this image.

While keeping pace with the lions during such scenes, it is easier to overlook inclusion of parts of other animals. I have experienced that number of times. Moving to the right or a lower angle would have helped. A vertical would have worked as well (600+2x).

Thanks for getting rid of the ear Doug. Will try to do it myself but not that proficient with Photoshop yet...

Great shot. Use the quick mask technique to remove ear. (see artie). Great action.
