Motif: Holiday Spirit – “Pops’ Christmas Tree”

Techs: The motion blur was made on purpose by moving the camera from left to right. A Circular Polarize filter was used at 25 percent capacity, to tone down the reflections and to give the image a silky, rich glow.

    The image was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor AF-S DX Zoom 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 20mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/125sec. - f/5.6 / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - mode @ auto - single / metering mode - matrix metering / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - no speedlight, ambient tungsten incandescent bulbs / tone comp @ +3 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform – hand held
