This snowy image is from yesterday, Christmas eve, with my new D700. Really it was one of the nice unexpected surprise images of a fly by.
I really wish I had pointed the camera down a few inches, but I still like it.

Happy Holidays to everyone @ BPN.

All comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Love the wing dip, soft light, and sharpness. If it were mine, I would move the bird a little higher in the frame to include more of the reflection.

I should have mentioned that it is almost full frame, I cropped just tad off the top. I didnt touch the bottom.

Crazy! Love it! Light, pose, detail, exposure, sharpnes, all is terrific! I am wondering about keeping or not the reflexion of the right wing... mmmm...

Love the light and feather detail, but especially the slope of the head and beak. I would crop from top and right to place the line of the body and the wing on thirds - something like this.

Great light, details and the wing touching the water makes it special. I like Tony's repost. Does it need a bit of CW rotation?

Beautiful light with nice detail. I like Tony's crop as well. Looks like you are going to enjoy the D700.
