    I was trying to photograph the Kestrel flying. This guy was a bit more cooperative but couldn't get him flying either. Have him on a few perches......but this thinner branch was my favorite.
    Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800 and the 1.4 tele at 1120mm at f8 and 1/2500 sec at ISO 1000.
    As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

    Good exposure control and eye contact. I would sharpen the bird more and wish for a lower angle. I might have lowered the ISO.

    I too love the eye contact. The exposure is right on. My only small nit is that I would want a tad more room on the left.

    Roman, Nice overall image!! Good light, sharp and well placed within the frame.
