What????? You don't all have Christmas toads????? :D
Well, up in Michigan, we usually don't either. But I came across this little cute guy hibernating in my cellar. After his quick photo session I carefully put him back where I found him. After reading your suggestions on how to improve this type of photo, I will see if I can find him again and might try this once more. One thing I know is that I will not use the brightest red poinsettia that I can find!

Nonda, do you think the image should be lightened?
(thank you for the well wishes. We have a mix of great news (daughter coming to visit) and very sad news. But it is still Christmas! I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas also.)
Yes I think the repost has it Cheryl. I thought you were a fan of darks:) The red looks pretty good to me although Al would know better and your sharpness and focus looks great!
Hi Cheryl,
I like the repost 100% All of the techs. have been addressed...
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...
LOL, Al, I wish it were warm enough for flies to be about!! Since he is in a semi hibernating phase, I think he will stick around.
Lisa is here today, and she showed me another way to crop which I like better than this repost. And this afternoon she and I will try again for another photo shoot with this little toad, and a poinsettia that is not as hot red.
