    The Wave was my photographic pinnacle in 2008. What a place. I decide to try a B&W conversion of one of my shots.

    Here it is...

    5d + 17-40L @ 17mm
    f/22
    1/15
    polarizer
    ISO 200

    I used Nik Silver Efx Pro to convert to B&W
    used red filter & Tmax 100 filter

    Hey Michael,
    Never thought I'd say this......because I really like it in color........but this turned out even better in B&W. Really accentuates the lines and the formations have a nice flow also.

    I love it, too. I wish there weren't the vertical striations on the left side to break up the flow of all that horizontal action but it's beautiful, nonetheless.

    Excellent Michael..The wave looks like fluid motion...congrats...the texture is superb and the contrast in monochrome puts it over the top...this one is better than the one in color...:cool:
