Thanks everyone for the suggestions on my previous post. I reworked the image, and allowed some more room at the bottom. I settled for this crop because the reflection starts repeating the light colored forehead, which looked kinda funky to me. I was able to get a little more detail out of the forehead but unfortunately there isn't any more detail especially near the top of the head. Let me know what you think.

I still love the BKGR but cutting the top of the head reflection is a no-no. A single QM and a few whacks with the Clone Stamp to tidy up yielded the re-post.

Sharpness and colors are super. The soft light is superb.

I like the repost even more.

I normally dont notice this but is this wigeon swimming uphill?

Great light, details and colors. I like the idea to include the entire reflection.

I have to agree about the head reflection but it is easy to fix and Artie did a good job. The image is outstanding. Man, the Bg and nice light are to die for and the drake is in perfect plumage condition. The exposure is nailed and you did a fantastic job with the duck´s eye. Congratulations!

Dear Mr. Curry-check, The head reflections are often mis-shapen. Love you. Will we see you around Ft. Myers after X-Mas?
