    The Gardiner River flows fast through Gardner Canyon. Hot springs empty into the river as well and this keeps the water open. On cold calm days like we had last week steam and frost make for some great photography. We could have spent the whole day along the river mining images....

    This is AWESOME with very interesting curves, details and light. I would remove the small cloud near the top right of the frame.

    Very, very well done Dale. The diagonals (trees and sunrays opposing directions) make this image.

    Good detail in the shadows too.

    Thanks for the link Fabs. Interesting perspective on this image's creation.

    Fantastic capture and composition...the lighting is superb...love the sun rays coming through the pine trees...:cool:

    Hey Dale,
    While the 2 dominant trees are the base and central part of interest.........I find that it is all the other little things........sunrays as mentioned...........mist shrouded sun covered rocks.........and the contrasts of the intensity of the light.......all combine to form an excellent image.
