    I did a couple of blur effects then a few brush strokes to get this effect. The original image had a painterly feel to the water - that was my inspiration

    Excellent water color Denise,
    I like this very much as presented...I like the rear capture with the bird looking to the side...this has a very good feel to it...well done...:cool:

    Hmmm- both versions are really nice. If given a choice, I think I'd like the lighter water and green/black rocks, but keep the bird a tad darker. Still the 2nd one works for me.
