Great Blue Heron & baby Alligator

Got this photo in one of Florida's great state parks in Palm Harbor. I was observing a hunting GBH, and though it was a snake. After down loading photos to pc, I realizied it was in fact a baby alligator.
If you look close you can see its eye in the herons b eak.
I was using a Nikon d-70s, 500 4.5 Sygma lens & 1.4 tele extender, I belive the exposure was 1/250 f-5.6
with + 1 stop comp

I think this is the second attempt you've made to get your image down and it just isn't working, Raymond.
