What a beauty Judy! I love the lighting and the interesting pattern in the reflections. I wonder about straightening the image a bit? It seems that a CCW rotation of a degree or two might help.

    Hi Judy,

I have to agree with Judd on this one. The details are fantastic!

I love this duckie! When I was in Bosque they all swam away from me. Nit already mentioned but easy to fix, you did well here, pretty image!

I never met a duck I didn't like....especially the pintails. Rotation mentioned. The duck is wonderful.....but the water is what I like most. The reflections of the reeds are intriguing. I think they'd make a terrific abstract image.

Beautiful image Judylynn! I like the reflections and of course the subject. I would maybe lighten the dark colour on his head?

Nice capture Judy. Details, color and lighting are wonderful. Nice job. I would like to see an alternate crop also. The bird is on the center horizon line. I think it might be a tad more dramatic, compostionally....if it was in the upper or lower 3rd of the horizontal . It's symetrical now...which can work, but I might like to see more room at the bottom.....leading the viewers eye "into" the frame at to the bird. Not crowding the top edge with the head...but more moving back just a tad and readjusting the position of the subject. Just a thought. Nicely done Judy.
