The blue morph Snow Goose is my favorite and I am always on the look out for them when I am out at Bosque. I find the gray underwing tones gorgeous. This is a full frame image, so this might be a little tight in the frame for some viewers.

North corn field, farm loop, November.

    Thanks for looking, critiques welcome.

I will be leading 2 workshops at Bosque in Dec, 2009 with a White Sands NM add on WS for 2 extra days.

The image is just beautiful Robert in every respect. The eye contact, wing position, dangling feet and tonal clarity rocks, killer shot. A huge congrats.

    Thanks Bill!
You would have loved it this day they were just hanging in the air and landing close by on the road. I have some good chocolate geese images also, they are the immature blues.

Really lovely Robert!! I love the tones, colors and textures. I was a bit overwhelmed being my first visit to Bosque a couple weeks ago, and there was so much more I would notice next time, especially the different flavors of geese.

Great wing position and lovely subtle colour tones, I agree this morph is one handsome bird - maybe I will make it next year!

Great landing pose, light and details. I would probably add a bit canvas left and bottom.
