Well it's been a long time since i have posted and its not that i did not want to but work had gotten in the way of my favorite past time.We have had quite a few storms here and then we have to catch up on our work when they are over. Today i was not on call and we are having a nice snowfall and there were a few jay's at my feeders . So heres one from behind a window , i think it kinda fits the mood with its softness :)

Glenn, first off hello! I like the eye in LR corner!!! I wish the birds eye was more visible- but I love his puffy look and the elements in BG, maybe tight on top and bottom-but really like the overall image

    Hi Glenn,
Welcome back to BPN; its been awhile. I like the composition. It must be cold up there. Mr. Blue Jay can sure vouch for that... I like the composition, it looks a tad under exposed. The eye is a wee bit dark. I like the ruffled feathers. I adjusted your image to show you the enhancements done. See if this presents better to you...

I like the re post Gus Might have left it a little softer for mood !! Do like the brightening up

Glenn might give more room if you have it, seems a little tight in frame !!! You can make some nice images with that bg !!!

Thanks for all your comments ,they are appreciated . There was no cropping on this one ,it's basically right out of camera with a bit of branch cloning out. Gus i really love the way you brought this to life ,would you mind filling me in on how you did it :)

do like the repost. wow, glenn! if this is right out of the camera, you could do a vertical with this guy. just make sure to place the bird on the opposite side of the frame from which it is looking. will give to bird room to look into so to speak. nice detail and love the snowy bg!

Like the picture Glenn, the repost looks good too, but agree with Al that the softness might have been more in keeping with the mood. Great colours, doesn't look like you have any kind of a cast going on. Love the blue in the head, looks spot on. Could try a vertical as Harold mentioned might look good too.
