I went to the top of Sandia Crest yesterday (close to 11,000 feet in elevation) in a quest for Rosy-Finches. When we got there the temperature was 20 degrees and the wind was blowing 30-40 mph! It was brutal. I did manage a couple of good frames, this being one of them. There aren't many places in America to see Rosy-Finches, but they sure are worthwhile to photograph.
