Default Flamingo Tongue and Sea Fan

Sorry, not an actual flamingo's tongue. This is a type of sea snail. Taken on our recent trip to Bonaire. We were being washed back and forth in some surge, and I realized if I got underneath the sea fan, as it bent down, I could get the blue of the sky behind it. Spent quite a while upside-down....

    Thanks for looking!

P.S.: Does this look posterized to anyone else? I had to bump this down to 60% quality to get it to fit under the size requirements, for some reason.....

Very cool image, Amy. I would take some off the bottom - you need more attention on the slug and less on the fan IMO. I'd also like to suggest that you put a bit more contrast in to it - pop those whites and make that slug really stand out against that beautiful BG.

    Hi Jules,

Ok - Here's a closer crop, and more contrast.....

    Amy,
Both the versions conveys a different message. The increased contrast works. I like the colours. Lovely.

I love the original, showing the outline of the fan.
The re-post shows a more detailed look of the critter, but looses the magic IMO.
