Another one from our great trip. Most of the images were created hand holding, because of the mobility. We tried the tripod on the first day, only to leave it abandoned and use the hand held camera. Never used the 70-200 so much before :) I think for this one, Judy went back to the car to get the 600, which she let me use. Gracias, comadre.

Awesome capture Fab with excellent detail and the pose and eye contact put it over the top for me. Love the fuzzy coat and crop too. Congrats on a fine image my friend !!

Great detail and exposure here Fabs. Love the look in the Buffs eyes and the action portrayed in this portrait. Good thing you had Judy around to bring you a 600mm on demand :D

    Lens on Demand!
    Wow! Great Concept. :-)

A lovely image. I like the eye contact. It means business. The tight framing accentuates it. The horns looked small in comparision to the head. (Ofcourse, I have no idea about your bisons).

    Cheers,

Great comp Fabs! I doubt I would have ever thought of it like this. Love the detail in the blacks and the eyes are stunning. I've seen these guys in person and a 600mm is about as close as I care to get. You owe Judy big time!

Really like the wide open eye and the look he's giving.

Good for the reasons mentioned though I would prefer not to see the fur at top clipped at the frame's edge. Good tonal details.

Hi Fabs. Looks like you had a great trip to Yellowstone. Awesome pose you caught here but the one nit I have is that the eye looks a little over processed to me. I would back off on the contrast a few notches

Great detail in the face and I really like that eye. Maybe just a little more room in front.
