    Kept toying with the idea of meeting the gang at west end this morning to look for a snowy. Finally decided to go even though the wind chill was in the teens and it was sleeting a bit. No sun as well. As you can see it was worth the effort. I think the owl was the only one who wasn't cold. A great morning with Grace,Terry,Ted,Lou,Jimmy and Artie Morris as well. Still can't wait to get to Florida:lol:

    Very cool pose, angle and details. You could have lowered the ISO easily. It looks a tad reddish on my monitor.

    That is gorgeous! Love the wings out and the funny face... LOve how white it all is! Beautiful! Doesn't LOOK cold! lol.

    Fantastic shot. Our overcast day gave you a great exposure!!! What lens were you using?

    Killer image.. wish I could join the old gang on LI.

    Does have a red cast.

    My mistake Axel. The SS was 1/800 not 1/8000. My 63 year old eyes are at it again!!!!

    Nice pose and overall exposure. Good move deleting the location it was photographed at as well. :D:D

    Nice seeing you there. It was chilly. Wonderful image. Sharp with a perfect exposure. The teacher in me cost me this one--I was checking the histogram for the guy to my left when the bird ruffled. Glad that you got a good one.

    Hi Joe, I love the pose of the owl and the comp you chose, the cast is there but it is minor.

    very nice pose joe, and can see the cast slightly as well, but thats an easy enough fix. well done.
