    These birds are surprisingly tame, I just sited down and waited for 5 minutes and they came right in front of me. All other waders kept the distance.
    Some crop for better composition (hope felicitous), some sharpening and head lightening.
    All comments and critiques are most welcomed.

    40D, 300/4+1,4x, ISO 400, 1/2500, f8, tripod.

    Great timing, pose and details. Could you have gotten a bit lower? There is a slight sharpening halo around the bill.

    With this particular tripod was impossible to get lower. It’s hard to see the halo on my screen but you might be right.

    VERY nice, pose is grreat, detail is great and comp looks great, light IMO is a little bit harsh, congratulaitons!
