    Ok - here's another shot of the pelican and the rainbow in Bonaire. Cropped square to avoid the chair that was in the frame. The pose isn't as nice.... But I got his feet!

    Nikon D80
    Nikkor 70-200 VR 2.8 @ 150mm
    ISO 250
    1/2500 @ f/5

    Amy think I like this one better with the whole bird. Very nice!

    Hi Amy went back to the last one and the head pose is stronger. Would probably cut more of the body than just clipping the legs and would work better.

    I like the composition, the head angle on this one is a tad off. I would clone out the shadow on the white railing...good show...:cool:

    The feather detail is just stunning, while I agree the other image HA is strong, I quite like this one too! And believe it or not I like the shadow, gives the image a sort of art deco feel.

    i like this one too. after looking at both, i would crop off a little more on the first one at least to remove all of the birds legs. you gotta love that bg. awesome, amy!!

    Haven't I mentioned lately how much I LOVELOVELOVE my 70-200 2.8 VR lens? This is a good example of how sharp it is. It was nice here to have enough light that I didn't ruin it with motion blur and DOF issues!
