Hi Marc, the plumage in the shoulder area seems a bit muddy or lacking details. The light is a bit strong to my taste. Not ure but the whites looks like a bit hot. I love the species, just beautiful, and the composition works for me fine. Hope to see more images from that part of the world!

Beautiful bird! I would add that a better head turn more towards us would improve this alot. I would also remove the pale circle near the head. I'm not very crazy about the tip of the perch...not sure how much of a crop this is already but I would explore an alternative to hide that tip (vertical or square-ish crops are options). I love to see these exotic species...keep them coming!

I am usuallu not a fan of dark BGs, but I think it works for this one. Agree with Daniel on the headturn and perch would remove the spot above the head.

Beautiful bird, I would never have guessed that it is a sparrow, and thanks for sharing. Juan and Daniel covered everything. I might raise the color temperature a few degrees.

This image was full frame. I've resubmitted this one here warmed up a tad with circle/flare removed with a slight crop for the branch.

    Cheers
    Marc
