Photographed at Bosque (farm loop) last week. This snow goose had joiined a flock of Red Winged Blackbirds (identity crisis??). Had already set manual exposure for the Geese. 1DMkIII, 500mm + 1.4x, ISO 800, 1/3200 @ f10 Manual, no flash.

Not your typical shot. Makes you wonder what the snow goose might have been thinking at that moment? To me, this is a picture that tells a story. Cloning that one RW bird from the goose's chest would make the goose stand out stronger, I think. Nice job.

Needs a little CW rotation to level out the B/G, like the contrast between the birds and the fact there's only one goose makes this image work for me.

    Nice work.

Very unique image. It's a study of contrast. dark vs. light and many vs. one. I like it.

Very nice combination of species. Night light and composition. I really like this image.

I like it. I might be tepted to clone out the RWBB in front of the goose, but either way nice and a bit different.

Great find, the snow goose really makes this one for me. I agree on CW rotation and might be tempted to clone out the clipped blackbirds.
