    Taken today, early morning overcast with snow flurries, no flash, Canon 500mm F4 and 1.4x, very tame owl at eye level, almost full frame, a few twigs at right removed, F8, ISO 400, +1.5 EC

    Very nice jeff the eye contact is outstanding! Sharpness is great and I like the body position and the comp with the branches.

    I would lighten the image a little if this were mine. Maybe even remove some of the blue.

    I like the intense stare, soft light and details. Maybe a bit more space at the right side?

    Fantastic eye contact with great vivid colors. I would like to see this image with a white BG.

    Did anyone mentioned that this image is terrific...? I totally agree ;) and also agree with Robert about lighten the image a bit

    make the background white, add red??? I'm confused on these suggestions.
