Hi Lady Denise,
I like the composition very much. I like the blur. Let me show you another angle to this see if you agree with this pano crop putting the flower in the cent of the frame, and locking all the focus and attention to it. I made it lighter by opening up the mid-tones and blurring the background just a tad more and liquefying the tones and hues so that they blend better...:)
On this one Denise,
Its by feel, since your Daisy was captured at this flat, almost eye level linear plane, the pano crop, and centering it presents well. This forces the eye to focus and zero in on the flower; thus showcasing it as the center of attraction...:)
Alfred, I noticed that by moving the flower there was not as much blur-I took off AI Servo and put it on one shot-then moved the flower w/ my left hand-I like the effect better than yesterdays post when I moved the camera-Actually it was a tip from Fabs-she told me to let the vegetation do the work -that made me rethink my set-up
Me too! The Orton effect really takes it over the top. I liked the original and then liked Gus' repost better but it seemed to take away some of the original softness. This is the best of both worlds.
Neat idea about moving the flower...I'll have to try that!
