    One of my pics from last May.

    I burned the background to keep it from distracting the paid. Besides adding some light on the beak, any suggestions?

    Michael, this is beautiful and I have no other suggestions for improvement than you have already identified. It is a very tender moment.

    Hi Michael,
    I like the composition and capture of mom and baby. I would turn the entire background to dark or black; the diagonal brown oof branch hitting mom is distracting, my eye keeps going there. I also see traces of cloning marks around the lower bill area..out side of this, I like it...:cool:

    Love this tender shot, might soften it up and then bring back the eyes. Then maybe put it on a either white or black BG.

    Mike for a nesting image it is very clean !!! These for me have to highest delete ratio of any !!! Can do much better with Purple Martins in flight !

    Darkening the bg would make it look good but might not look natural at all? Would just go with the flow it is an excellent image !!
