Another shot of the owl I have applied a little Filter >Noise > Reduce Noise in CS2 on the owl and quite a lot more on the background.

Hi, very nice moment, I love the low flight and the pose, I might try a p[ano crop, but as presented it looks great! Congrats!

I like the composition, setting and gliding pose. It could go a bit brighter for my taste.

    Hi Jonathan,
pretty sharp for that low a shutter speed and that low an F stop. As was suggested before I might have the tendancy to brighten it up a bit. Interesting to see how similar the environment that these guys are in where you are to where they live here in western Canada. I haven't been quite as lucky about getting good backgrounds. Always seem to get them with white sky behind :p. Over all a very nice shot

Wonderful capture Johnathan. I really like the habitat and know it is not super easy to get this image in and amongst the tall grass. I agree it could be a bit brighter, but then again, this is likely indicative of the light at the time the image was created.

Very nicely composed and atmospheric image - as a fellow Brit, I can appreciate the light quality and apparent lack of 'brightness'!

Nice gliding pose and I too like the environment inclusion here. As far as brightness goes, I like it as presented.

The owl is great and I really like the included habitat and the composition, Jonathan. I like the brightness as presented because of its moodiness, but a brighter version would likely also work nicely. Well done.

I have to agree with Axel. I would like to see it a little brighter and looking at you.
