    Yep another do-over

1st and about the only BIF off a tripod, water is butt ugly, needs better eye contact.

Hi Nona, I like it. Good capture of this bird in flight. I like the raised wing and the space provided for the bird to fly into. The bird is sharp with good detail. I also like that you were level if not slightly above the bird when you captured the image as for me it provides a greater feel of contact/iitmacy that might have been lost as when the angle of capture becomed too steep. If the bird had been flying a bit more toward you the image would have been even more powerful. However, I think it is very nice as presented. My only suggestion relates to the brightness of the image. As presented it feel a bit dark (probably a matter of taste). If it were mne I might try and lightening the background a bit and adding a little contrast/saturation to the bird.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Good capture Nonda Sure is sharp and perfectly exposed The background is what it is and not much you can do about it.

Would have like to seen the image made before so the bird is not flying away but is close, also the wing fully stretch makes a difference.... more fps !!!

Yea the shutter speed is a bit doggie (whoopsie Alfred meant hammer down on the shutter). Hopefully Don and I will make it back up and I'll get another try at them.

The reason I looked to be at the same height as the bird is because I was. Some of the guys had cut this little space in the trees/shrubs out on a small cliff. Just enough room for one person and a tripod, I'm scared of heights too:D Boy did I think I was hot stuff, out on a cliff with a TP photographing birdies, did not look down.

Mr H. hubby doesn't laugh at me because I a 'comedian' he's laughs because I do bone headed ( in his eyes) stuff, live entertainment.
