    One from my bakyard. The perch is too dominant, but I still like this image.

    400D, 100-400 at 275

    I just realized I forgot to increase the saturation as I usally do for web presentation

    Very cool perch Aidan, and a very nice subject too. As you said the perch may be a bit dominant but if you gave a bit more room top and left I think that effect would be lessened. I know it is full-frame...but use that zoom to your advantage (pull back if this was at 400mm!) Do I detect a color cast? (greenish). Lastly, another round of USM would help with the overall sharpness here.

    I like the perch, eye contact and BG. I would add more space top and bottom and sharpen the bird more.
