What a beautiful bird. He looks good to me. Simple and nice colors. Love the snow. I think what I'd wish for most would be some eye contact....with just a turn of the head. Well done.
Beautiful image of a captive bird. Well done as for detail and comp. When I have done these in the past I put a small evergreen branch or a branch with some native leaves just in front of the perch to hide the straps on the legs. I have found that it looks natural and makes the image stronger. Ethics dictate that you still should state it is a captive , but it just adds to the overall natural feel to the image. Just a suggestion to pehaps improve an already fine image.
