    I like the diagonal of the rock, the pose (except for the head turned slightly away), and the blue background. The light looks very harsh and the whites appear quite hot on my monitor. Softer light would make a big improvement here. As is, I wonder if the whole image could go darker. You might crop some from the left to get the bird more off-center and perhaps clone some of the whitish spots in the background. Keep them coming.

    Agree with most of OP comments. Don't mind the bkgr, looks natural. You may have hit the saturation a bit hard either in camera or post processing.
