    Hi Denise
I think you have a nice image posted. It just seemed a bit on the darkside so all I did was lighten it a bit.

Excellent composition, image and capture Lady Denise,
I like it very much as presented. You have very sharp details and superb color rendition. The head angle and eye contact are dead on. I like the Crystal clear eye. The arch perch gives the image a nice touch. The multi-tone pastel background compliments your subject very nicely. well done...:)

Nice one Denise! good eye and detail.

As to the lightness, somewhere between the two if any.

Very nice Denise !!! I like the fine detail and good pose Lighter does look better ... would desaturate the beak a little !! I like it a lot !!

Nice image! Good pose, great detail. I like the soft light. The background works well with the bird. I normally do not like images with man made materials but I think it works very well in this image. I agree that the beak might present better if desaturated a little. Oh, both post are nice but I agree with Harold that I think I like your original the best.

    Well done!!!

I like the original over the re-post. Lovely, lovely image - sharp, good detail, nice composition, maybe a tad dark but only a tad.
Denise your songbird images are so wonderful, I encourage you to try placing a stick or whatever near the feeders to see if you can get the bird in a more natural setting. Seems like the next step....maybe ...just a thought
    Cheers

Hi Denise - prefer the original - good detail, pose and HA - like how the clours all complement each other.

    :)

Denise, I like the light in the repost but with the sharpness of the original. IAC, nice bg, details, HA and composition.

Oscar, I posted a similar shot in hand of man-just diff. pose, same perch.

Gail, I have trees , logs, etc. near my feeders-This was shot on the side of my house-no where near feeders. That's my luck for you(I had one of these wrapped in pine branches w/ pinecones near feeders)

    Thanks everyone!

Great job Denise. I chased a bunch of these last week in NC, but none as beautiful as yours. Congrats!
