Lovely member of the toucan family prevalent in the rain forests of Costa Rica. This one visited a feeder set out with fruit. It was raining and the light very low. 500mm f4 lens, ISO 1250, f4, 1/300. Noise Ninja used in PP.
Amazing markings on that bill Susan, and really stands out against the lush green BG. Maybe a bit tight at the top, and there is evidence of a halo around the bill, probably from oversharpening. Still, well captured.
Well done. Great head angle and BKGR. You needed to point the lens up just a bit as there is more space below the bird than above. You could add canvas above and then crop or QM out the pointy thing l-l frame edge.
And yes, I see the sharpening halo. It's a miracle!

Great details, beautiful bird and very nice BG. Another vote for more space at the top and maybe a bit less at the bottom and a bit more contrast. The halo around the bill should be easy to fix.
Lovely point of view of the bird, great color and BG, very nice detail I would go back in the PP and take away the halos, other than that, I love it! Congratulaitons!
