Very unusual perspective. I like it. The whites on the neck are a bit hot as is the left side center. I also wish the eye were a bit sharper.
I love the texture on the wing, James. The side-lighting shows nice details in the feathers. Lightening the image (moving midpoint slider in levels to the left) improves this aspect of the image, I think. The real problem is the completely blown whites on the head and ?leg at the left of the image. If this was shot as a raw file you may be able to recover this by reprocessing with more recovery. Lack of sharpness in the eyes is a drawback but partly salvageable with some selective sharpening.
