Eric, I get dizzy looking at this image; it's effective and unusual.

love the perspective and exposure. only wish the top of the tree was in focus or sharper.

    Hi Eric Neat image !!

Agree with Harold on the sharpness. For this you could have stopped down to f22 for the added dof and the starburst effect. The sun will take the interesting effect !! Composition wise might have included a little more from the left.

These type images are mostly made with wide angle lenses for the perspective and dof coverage !! Did well I like it !!!

    Hi Eric,
I am sorry to say that the composition and capture does not do it for me. I have difficulty grasping the concept of a curved tree coming out from left field in this perspective; and especially coming out from the intersecting lower point of your frame. I would have liked to have seen the capture taken with the tall tree in the center of the frame, and the surrounding compliments playing a supportive role in balancing the rest of the composition; leading your eyes straight up to the sky. The top of the tree is out of focus due to the aperture setting used. In these types of compositions, its best to stop down and use an aperture setting of f/11; f/22; f/24 etc...that way you get maximum depth of field, and everything is in focus...looking forward to your next one...
